Hey guys,
just wondering is it ok to run a 55t/28t in a tt-01? or will it overload the motor. At the moment im running 55t/25t and everyone seems to be a little quicker down the straight. And if it is ok to run with anyone know were i can get a 28t pinion??

you can run the 28t pinion with the stock silver can motor. Tamiya does not make a 28t pinion. Kawada makes one but you will have to order it thru one of the Japaneses web sites the carries kawada.

It would highly depend on the motor that you are running.
Try switching to aluminum or titanium screws to lighten the weight of the vehicle.

For my TT01 i use 61/22 (7.21) for drifting. And no heat problem for motor and esc. I use Mabuchi TUNED SPORT coz they say its economy stock motor

I ordered 24/25 poion gears and 55 58 61 surp gear, and I realize that I can't take my poion gear off from the silver can. will I need to remove it by force?
