Is that considered a web site? 1 page with very little information.

How much more info do you want, 5 months before the event? Dates and location are on the page. Along with the hotel rate.

Well, I don't know about you, but I'd like all of the information as soon as possible. For many of us, it takes a while to plan a vacation.

Thanks for the pre-race interest!! We are getting ready to start promoting and advertising the event. Since this thread was started.... try this link below. It has a lot of information from last year. It might help in some ideas about the race. Look for additions to the site soon. Thanks! We typically have waited until Cleveland gets rolling and of course Vegas gets done.

Is the race going to be at the same location as last year, i.e. Legacy Grand Resort = Orlando Grand Plaza?

Not much talk yet, but that could change at any time.

Yes same place. New owners. I have met the new owners and they are from Orlando, and are local. They own several hotels in the area. They are real nice and extremely dedicated to our race, service, the hotel, and the future of the hotel. This is the 1st year I am excited about our return. The sales manager is a huge football - Nascar fan so that is good.

We will be starting a new website and making exciting new announcements to the race soon on a new thread... thanks!

The great news is I was able to get a much lower rate for all rooms and also arrange a late 2pm check-out for Sunday. We have a few other surprises to be announced later. Already a ton of rooms reserved. Can't wait!

A lower rate is great... what about clean rooms with working amenities?

I've raced the last few years and had a blast, but the rooms were just nasty at best unless you were in the tower. Half the time the AC didn't work etc.

what about wireless internet access... only had it in the lobby last year, but was still better than nothing.

We were told it would be redone last year, but our room was not I don't know about anyone else.
