Default How about an RC wiki?

I'm prepared to host one if everyone helps build it up. Do we need one? is the other question. Some of you may be asking what the hell is a wiki? Anyhows, if you know any links to any good rc wikis then let me know. I've seen some but not any good ones.

It would need to be neutral and non-judgemental, which would be pretty hard to moderate. I've thought about doing/starting something similar but don't have the time to put into it. I contribute to Wikipedia already, I'd help out with a good RC wiki.

There is wiki already set up.

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Categor...ontrolled_cars

Now you just need to contribute.

We need a few for specific data collected from various sources and companies.. like spring rates (i.e. purple Tamiya vs. purple XRay), motor technologies (differences between Epic/TOP/Checkpoint/V2), brushes (wear and performance characeristics between 767's and F-lines, and what does drilling holes/shaving sides do?), brush springs (what will purple/red. do compared to red/red?) , tires (temp ratings and wear characteristics), all laying out what's out there, and what they do.. some can be more objective than others, though, but at least it'd be out there..

Anyone care to try

I'd love to see this! We need an RC Tech wiki...with the above data. The brain power and experience is here already...just burried in these forums.

Sounds good. How would you like it organised. The one on wikipedia just has manufacturers names, but it doesn't seem to link together so well. How about boats and helis? I'm not into them but there are plenty of people big into helis.
