Default DNA2 for RUBBER/carpet and RUBBER/asphalt racing

Todd Putnam;
Thanks for your words Todd. Ahh yes......the good ol' days in Oval rc racing. Priceless memories aren't they?
Regarding a pick for Super Dirt Week. I've been so busy this summer, I didn't get out to even one local DIRT series race. I attended too many WORLDS races in far-away places. I haven't the faintesy clue who's hot or I'd pick to win. Hope it's my buddy Pete Bicknell: - definitely the most polarizing guy around the local dirt scene. They love him or hate him - kinda like that guy who once won a few NASCAR races in a black car.

or8ital;
Thanks for the report on DNA1 test. It not too hard for me to believe what you're saying. Things in pro rc racing have evolved to where everything is pretty specialized. It's hard to imagine a sedan body having optimum performance in foam/carpet as well as rubber/asphalt (in the hands of an a-main level driver). The dynamics involved are just too different in this day and age.
The DNA2 should solve the problem - I hope. (about a month-5 weeks away)

This is not about the DNA1 but scence we are on the body topic what is the reaction when you move the wing more forward or backward.

Moving the wing forward or back has a few things it does. One is allow more or less air to hit the damn ( moving it closer to the rear window keeps it out of the air more= less downford ). It will also move the center of pressure. The fartehr back you move the wing teh fartehr back you move the center of pressure. Dale may be able to give you a more detailed description of everything better than i can, im sure.

Is the DNA going to be (or is) available in the "lightweight" version?

Ok, i never really choose my bodies by performance before.

Im running a RIDE Accord on carpet with foams. Is the accord a high downforce shell for tarmac or low downforce?

After seeing all the braces that the guys at the US Champs were putting on their "lightweight" bodies (non-DNA) to help stop the bodies from getting tucked-under, a lightweight body may not be a good idea afterall.
