Just got my DNA and got it painted. I can't wait to try it this weekend. So far all the results you here are very good!

Default DNA1

ICEMAN:
I'm just finishing a new rubber/carpet/asphalt mold as we speak. Hope to release it in 3-4 weeks. Can't tell you quite yet what body style it is. Modelled after a "real" racecar sedan. Hoping to get the blessing of the BRCA.
The DNA2 rubber tire version will be next. Also 3-4 weeks away.

Scott Fisher:
Just send me a pm

CRASH;
Nice paint work. Try not to live up to your name eh!

That sounds cool Dale... can't wait to see what you have modelled it on. Any hints... what series it comes from, ie WTCC etc

Talking 8 out of 8

Just found out that Atsuchi Hara was in fact running a PROTOform Mazda 6 while winning Mod Rubber Sedan at the IIC. Sweet. It means it was a sweep - we had 8 TQ's and 8 Wins due to the skills of these amazing drivers.

Ok ok.... I'll shut up already. Geeeees.

THANKS AGAIN GUYS! - Dale - PROTOform Race Bodies

Just out of curiosity, I know the Parma has been dominant for the last few years on foam tires. (Until now ) What bodies were being used on foams before that body was out? Was everyone just using the same old Stratus bodies that were all over the asphalt tracks at the time.

Dale,
I thought you may like to hear a perspective from "a fly on the wall" at the IIC who wasn't racing, just wheeling my comm lathe...

The murmur thru the pits was that the DNA body was better...and needed if you were going to contend for the victory.

Reminded me of a similar murmur I heard spreading through the pits at the '94 ROAR Oval Nats regarding some new Monte Carlo from Protoform...then again a couple of years later about some Protoform Pontiac...

Nice work Dale...congrats.

Got any picks for Super Dirt Week?

For those of you that were curious. I ran the DNA1 on asphalt (rubber tires) this weekend. I was about .2-.3 sec slower per lap then with my Mazda6. Everything else was the same. The car felt more stable but slower.
