Default Questions about Custom Anodizing

Questions about Custom Anodizing

I have some questions about custom Ano I hope some of you guys can answer.

Can anyone ano in a Paris Hilton hot pink?

Where have you had stuff anoed and how was the final product?

Can small stuff like mini flink nuts be anoed.

Did you need to strip the stock ano off the metal before the new coat of ano

Does the new coat of ano change the size of the part. For example if you ano aluminum hubs will the bearings still fit or could the bearing wholes be slightly to small.

How much does it cost?

Big thanks to whoever can help.

Typically, you don't need to strip off the old anodizing off prior to taking it to the anodizing shop. Part of the process of anodizing is an acid etching that "prepares" the surface for the new coloring. I change color on anodized parts quite often without incident
