Default Will NOVAK come up with a USB sync like Castle Creations.....

I recently purchased the USB link for my Mamba. Oh my God, was I living in the stone ages. The detailed way to adjust the output and performance of the Mamba ESC is just sick sick sick. Now, to the grit. Will either of the sensored boys (NOVAK and LRP) come out with something similar. I know industry cats read the threads and if a sync for the GTB came out, I would be in la-la land. Has anyone heard of anything in the rumor mill or through the pipeline?

Castle Creations has several brushless SC's that can use the USB hub. Novak and LRP only have one, and each has one touch. Don't look for it soon, unless Bob gets bored.

When Novak came out with the Cyclone SC, they had the stand alone Pit Wizard to program it, but they also had serial port connector you could program it with. The software was in DOS. It didn't sell very well. I still have mine in a bin somewhere.

Damn, I remember Novak having the computer link. I tell you, the ability to see your adjustments on the screen instead of listening to beeps and watching lights is a Godsend. I hope Bob stops creating sick motors for a minute or two to get a sync for the GTB.

Default Just spoke to Novak

To answer my own question, it is no. Just spoke to the folks over at Novak. They indicate that because of the ease of changing programs and toggling with the GTB, a PC interface isn't necessary. They also stated that there is no immediate plans to come out with one to compete against the one from Castle Creations . And for any of you old school dudes wondering, the Pit Wizard IS NOT compatible with the GTB. I asked.
