From RCRacechat forum;

"Very true points, can't argue against them at all.

However, Fifth Gear editors put all the film together, not us - we would have made it much more exciting (hopefully some of you have seen the videos available on the HPI EU site ).

I watched the full clip again this morning and apart from two minor things (them misnaming the car and whatshisnamejerkoff taking a cheap dig at Andy), the piece was very good for the general hobby market, which is how we all started anyway. Here's the clip of the race portion of the segment: http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...92491462766951

I'm hoping we can get Andy to race against that new co-presenter guy to show him a thing or two! And no running over anything!

BTW, the car they ran over was my old Sprint chassis with one of Andy's old bodies on it. So nothing about 'that blonde bitch' any more, OK guys? Vicki was very nice and knew what she was in for - everything was scripted. If you're going to complain to Channel 5, complain about their new 'look' and this co-presenter Tim. Jonny's OK, we know him from Max Power

Hi USA guy`s
being laid back is a bit slow over here

it was `allright` the show is getting a bit of stick (coz it`s bad)

like i posted i would of run the car over aswell if got beat

But the uk racers are not sure how to be laid back (bit more Grass me thinks

i did see the craig drescher (YZ10 yoko) vs gokart that was good ,

Cool to you , allright to the UK

Harry did state the andy had the same battery as me ,(think it should be the other way round )

think i`ve found the problem ,as you get older ,you get more moany (victor mildrew) & you don`t appriecated things as much !!

Do agree with you there Jolly, but also think us uk drivers where hoping for a piece that was going to help promote our hobby not mock it as it seemed to, as you know we definately need it at the mo.

Skiddins - thanks for posting my post on the other forum

The only mocking bit is what Lovejoy says at the very end of the bit, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth for the whole segment IMO and was a cheap shot. The 'pit stop' (you can't even see my face in it! ) and the applying makeup bit are purely for TV. I'm sure other loyal Fifth Gear fans have been sending in their remarks on Mr Lovejoy and the way the show is trying too hard to be like Top Gear, hopefully he'll get axed or toned down quickly.

She's actually a racing driver/motoring journalist. She's not there to look pretty, she actually knows what she's talking about.

Would you carry it if it meant that you were the fastest touring car driver in the world? I thought Andy Moore just won the Worlds....
