Hello Folks....

The race are with stock motors, and I have a 27T Monster Pro.

Well, please I need tips, for set-up my car.

First Problem:

Shocks Set-up:




The settings are.
Tamiya Super Low Friction Dampener TA03 - 53280

Front: Oil 30 - 2 holes - blue springs

Rear: Oil 30 - 3 holes - factory springs

Second Problem:

I set-up the Front-End Alignment , but after walking 800 meters, the car begins to go for the right or left , and it is very difficult correct the alignment on race.

I have a servo futaba S9001.

third problem ,

which is the best bursh for this motor? , all brushess are legal on our group.

Yesterday some guy with the same motor was + / - 3.000 rpm more, and I don`t know why!!! $ˇ%"ˇ$%ˇ$%"ˇ$%.....

1st correct the tracking problem.

The tamiya mini car can do the following things.
- at high speed, the rubber tires can ballon and catch the polycarb body.
solution - cut the body around tires. not pretty but you need to.
- over tightening the tire nut can cause the tire to bind. this cause the car steer to one side. check and correct each tire nut.
- glitching of motor can cause servo to react at high speed. make sure you have enough caps on motor. SMD caps in newer motors do not seem to do as good a job as big ass regular capacitors.
- soft brush springs can cause major glitches due to brush jumping. run motor out of car and make sure you dont have lotsa arcing/flashing. make sure you have proper motor brush.

2nd shocks/suspension
- I suggest you get the tamiya sway bars. They help a lot.
- I cannot help you with shock set up. It all depends on your track. Ask your fellow racer what they do. I like to put a stiff spring with a slow rebound. I Usually use 40-60 weight.

3rd Best brush
As always, high silver content is best. And so is soft brush. But both do not come together always. Depends whats available in your area. Buy racing silver brushes from a good company in your local hobby shop. Makes sure you break-in properly. Clean comms after each race. If you have a comm lathe, cut comm lightly after each race.
