Are there many settings to change on a 1/12 car? I see very little adjustments to make on the car, except the steering arms area.

I think it would be great to have a thread for the RC12L3, since it seems to be one of the more popular 12th scalers around. That way we wont have to thumb through a million pages.

i agree the rc12l3 is a bit different because it has a t bar and the newer ones (crc) don't. its hard to find good info on this pan car and most people use a crc or switchblade for carpet racin not the 12l3. i don't enjoy search through 75 pages and find practicly nothing about the car.

What do you want to know about the car. It has been the benchmark of 1/12 for many years. It is a simple car to get to handle and is as fast if not faster than any other 1/12 on the market. I have a switchblade ( I got a really good deal on it ) otherwise I would have a 12l3.

I like to have at least 3 batterys:
1st in use
2nd on the charger
3rd cooling off from previous run
People may have a different preferance, but this is what i use.

Hello,
What are people generally using for tires on asphalt? I hear the jaco purple front/ grey rear is good for carpet, does the same apply for asphalt?

That's about right for traction, but I think you'd be best off with pink rears instead of grey(pinks are the same for grip, but won't wear out as quickly). The purple/pink combo seems to be the most popular one for asphalt racing, for its balance of grip & wear...

Wind Tunnel Racing got it. Actualy I'm running a R/C12LW
with an IRS rear axle 3 hole style w/aero car bottom rear pod that gaurds the gear and adds downforce just trying to update my equipment , but still kicken butt on the track with the old stuff.
Thanks again, Bubba
