But lets make it west coast....You easties have the Birds and Cleveland....
We have IIC.....need to make it fair....

All you need to make it work for real is 1500 guarantee then they would make it an ALL RC cruise, that would mean about 600 entries cause you know wife, and kids are coming if you are going on a cruise....That seems reasonable amount of entries..
I think Scotty or someone could really make this happen...Maybe a Spring event...

wouldnt the central lobby on most ships be big enough for a track? It would also provide excellent exposure for the race to the rest on the ship.

Yeah I went on the Mariner of the Seas. Very nice ship. The rink has stadium style seating all around it....great for spectators. Hmm..this really needs to happen.

most boats have basketball and tennis courts that you could use as for using the main lobby im pretty sure they would not let you use it becuase lots of ppl take pictures and walk thru that area. but this would be a sweet idea if it could be made possible. as much as i know you guys probably dont want to race on deck becuase of possible over boards but it would be the best place to race

Yea but please not during huricane season....
See another great reason for West Coast Cruise...
Here is the reasons why this should happen
1) You can take your wife and kids for not much more than a normal vaction.
2) You will have great food and intertainment paid for in advance so you can blow yoru savings in the casino..That was a joke, just so you know.
3) Stress is kept to a minimum do to the fact you have everything taken care of.
4) You do a 5-7 day cruise and there is time for a nice stop in Cabo San Lucus, so your wife feels she got something out of the cruise.
5) Plenty of room for your pit space, there is interlinked TVs in each room. You will know when you race is up....No big worries about where to setup pits...
OK there is like 100's of ideas of why this would be great...But limit one or the other. TC or 12th scale as both take up too many days...

OK my rant is over...

P.S. I like cruises....

Well you might want to check with which cruise line...
I believe its still 21 since they only go out 12 miles for cruising...But hey if I am wrong there will be 25% more chance I will do well in the race cause of hang overs..LOL...
-Shookie <><

Lets here more Ideas and Concerns....
My one concern is since there is child care basicly paid for, does that open up the kiddy fund for more RC...???

All you need to do is slip the captain a little bribe if youre racing on the open deck and he'll gladly make a sharp turn as the race leader is approaching the 1st opening fast right corner which is near the edge of the cruiser...

Overboard ahoy!

The one I went on was 18 cause we were in international waters. When we went to Senior Frogs to mexico, there wasn't even an age.
