I asked Rick about these cells and this is what he said "Some guy who used to work for IB left them and is working for or
started
this company. I guess they are supposed to be pretty good but I don't
know
anything else."

That's all I know, but I think the black and red cell shrink wrap looks cool.

There is a popular matcher in Australia who's been matching these for quite a few months - performance seems on par with IB4200SHV's at $20AUD per pack less

May I know who is the "IB" mentioned by "Some Guy"?? Does it mean the true "Intellect Battery Co. Ltd" or some fake names like Intellect Brothers or ibbattery ?

Someone tried to use the name of Intellect Battery and fool the public.

I would like to confirm, in the last 3 years, there is no technical team or R&D team or production engineers left Intellect Battery. Intellect Battery spent all the effort and focus to improve batteries used in RC. The resources and time we spent has started new pages in RC battery industry. Now, "Some Guy" try to use the success of Intellect Battery to pretend to be their own work.

I know nothing about who left IB and all those politics - but

I've been using and selling EP cells matched in Australia by "Feral" for nearly a year now and they are as good as anything else out there for all aspects - run time - voltage - IR and long life. They love to be used and I often charge mine more than twice a day with little noticeable performance difference.

Actually, Paul has tested both IB and EP and will be running IB at Vegas. The EP is a good cell, but he feels the latest IB cells run the best.

The EP cells I have seen are not to ROAR spec size wise, but they are suppost to be working on that. It sounds like several sources in the U.S. are going to be importing the cells. ROAR does battery approvals in September so I'm sure there is a big push to get these to market.
