anycar is capable of winning just choose a car that will suite your driving style. I see alot of people buying car each month co'z its new this will not going to make a good driver. And alot of us need to realize that I've been there before so I'm speaking out of my own experience. So right now I'm sticking with one I've been driving for about 2 years now and I'm pretty happy with it.

The Surikarn Edition is the one you can't get anymore. I was lucky enough to get one when I did.

As far as I know, the major US distributors, like Great Planes/Tower Hobbies and Horizon can no longer get the car. I don't think SpeedTech can't get it either.

It was a limited edition run. Same goes for the Hara Edition.

If you were able to get either one easily, it's really a toss up.

The Surikarn comes with more options out of the box. It basically has all the tuning options (Front One-Way, Spool, Center One-Way, Center locked pulleys, all the Sway Bars ).

The MRE, I believe, just comes with the locked center pulleys and spool. That's the perfect setup for asphalt anyway.

Both cars require a diff to be purchased to run it on carpet.

If anything, I think parts availability is better for the Cyclone cars as most of the breakable suspension components are HPI Pro4 parts. Most shops have those items and all the major distributors carry parts. Not to mention, if you plan on running carpet, BMI is releasing a carpet chassis kit that makes the Cyclone that much better on carpet.

Hope this helps.

There's no difference between the Surikarn and Hara cars other than color.

I dont think thats strictly true, it depends on what you like to run on carpet. For me, a one way is a no, diff is ok but i like the spool in the MRE for carpet, it really does handle well!

I think schreff means that to run the car competively on carpet with foams you need a diff, with rubbers you can run all three competively.
