I just fitted a 006 bottom plate to my 007. Fits perfectly. All major holes lined up exactly. Havent put the chassis stiffener stands on but looks like they will line up. The multiflex slots are cut out differently, but doesnt seem to matter.

Of course, finding a GOOD 006 chassis will be the hard part.
Have you priced up a T2r chassis?? Should be alot cheaper.

I have a line on several used 007 chassis plates. Some of the local 007 racers took off the stock chassis plate and installed the Exotek plate so they may still have the plate I need.

It is good to know that the 006 chassis plate will fit. I'll keep an eye out for one of those also.

Xray says the T2R chassis plate will not fit a 007. At $84, I don't want to find out the hard way that they are right.

I can't find the 007 plate on the Exotek site so it may not be available any more.

Im having a hard time with turning my car. it turns great full lock left to right to where the wheels are close to rubbing the bottom shock cap. however on the track, it seem slike i need even more steering angle, the car turns wayy wide, and i cannot drive the track very well or fast.

Now the track is an old go cart track. it is made of the smooth asphalt or concrete, not the type of concrete seen on the street that seems to be made of rocks. could this be the reason, and im just getting alot of understeer from no traction? Anyone run on a go cart track just fine? i can grab a picture in a day or two. the tires im using are rubber slicks, which are still stuck to the wheels upfront.

I was afraid someone would ask. i dont have a set up system or anything, so me even asking could be pointless. im still open to "try more/less" answers, as i was expecting.

You could just download a 007 set up sheet from xray, and use that to narrow down some of the set up options. use the xray set up sheet section as well, the 007 should still have quite a few listed.

I'll try to answer in your requested format
try more betterer tyres first

seriously, I had these sorts of issues, the 4 sets of used tyres that came with my car simply didnt grip, so the car would push in corners-making it seem that it wasnt turning & SEEMED it needed more "steering angle" (among other things)

I keep stripping The threads on top of the steering blocks. Anyone have the samenproblem? I know one of the screws are too short, but then thenotjer aide has began to strip too.

I'm sure it's from whacking the walls.
