Hey guys i have been reading the above posts about putting a lipo in the my t2 007. I am probably going to get one of the trinity ip lipo or the orion one with the humps. My question is is there any lipo that will fit the car without any moding.

possibly the orion 3200, but my orion 3600 required a dremel of the rear bulkhead to clear.

The Orion 3200, 3600, and 3800 require dremeling of the rear bulkhead as pictured about 8 posts above, but that's it.

I just got a novak brushless motor for my xray and novak recomends something around a 3.5 fdr this seems very low is this correct. If this is I was looking at gearing and I would have to go with a 90 spur and a 40 pinion and that would put me at about 3.8 is this a good starting point ? Thanx for any help .

Hi guys,

i need some help, i have an Xray T2 ( not the 07 though ) and i am fitting a 17.5 stock motor.

i know the gearing will be totally different to a normal stock, what pinion and spur should i use for a medium fast flowing track? ( i dont understand rollout that well so a spur and pinion figure would be good ). i run 48 pitch gears.

thanks!!

Go for a target FDR of 3.5-4.0 for the 17.5 motor. I am not sure of gear sizes as I run 64 pitch.

www.gearchart.com can help you find spur/pinion sizes that will give you proper gearing.
