Need some assistance. Vintage trans am with the T2'007. GTB esc, 17.5 brushless, 4 cell nimh. 65 x 35 track has a few tight 180 turns. What pinion and spur combination should I look at running? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

this is interesting. You mean when you off throttle, only then it will veer to left or right?

Usually when ON throttle this happen... now Im also confused. I usually check my driveshaft on each end... maybe something gone wrong at this area.. im not sure

Also, as i go through this car-- (bought it from a friend).. the front arms bind horribly. Before i start relieving parts of their excess plastic- is this a known problem? is there an known fix??

Pins are true, arms -- tried brand new with the same result.. nothing is bent..

Most generally if th arms bind it's because one or more of the roll center screws are bent, back them out a few turns should be able to notice fairly easily, xray also makes a reamer for the arms nothing seems out of place

The first thing I do is ream the hinge pin hole with the Hudy reamer, it works great and I believe is necessary. The other thing is how you tighten the hinge pin blocks. If not done properly then this will bind the arm. If you are tightening the screw so that the block wants to rotate into the arm then hold the arm with your left hand so as to stop the rotation. If you are tightening the screw so that the block wants to rotate away from the arm hold the block so that it doesn't rotate. A couple of tries and you'll get it just right.
