The first chassis is from the T2 and the second is from the T2 007. The chassis' are the same thickness. The differences are the holes for the speedo to be cooled, the flex holes are the same in the back and shorter shorter and moved in the front. Another difference is the servo is moved forward on the T2 007 chassis. Hope this helps.

Check out this article about using the Orion 4800 in the 007.

We keep a good supply of XRay parts for all models including older kits in stock. Site is real time inventory.

The best selection of XRay parts on line that I have found is Stormer Hobbies
http://www.stormerhobbies.com/
The inventory on their site is real time so if it shows they have it... well then they do
Plus they ship all over the world.

I've had good luck with Stormer, Ashford, Nexus Racing, AMain, and Ampdraw.

http://www.ashfordhobby.com/
http://www.nexusracing.com/
http://www.amainhobbies.com/
http://www.ampdraw.com/

All of them seem to have real-time inventory, and are super fast at getting orders out. Since I'm one state away from Ashford, UPS ground is next day for me. Nexus Racing's standard shipping is USPS Priority Mail, and Stormer has sent stuff USPS or UPS, depending on weight. Most stuff from AMain and Ampdraw was two days USPS Priority across the country for me. Chances are if one of the above don't have the part in stock, then neither does RCAmerica (XRAY importer).

I can vouch for both Stormer Hobbies and A Main Hobbies. If they both have the parts you want, I'd recommend A Main as you can choose your postage method and know how much it will cost. Twice I've chosen the cheap option and had my parts in about a week or so. Both orders so far have only been small.

With Stormer you don't get to choose postage option through the checkout process so you get charged for whatever method they choose to send it to you by.

This was an issue with the first batch of 007's, but Xay was supposed to have fixed the problem. I would contact RC America and let them know you are having the issue, and they should replace the parts.
