I have a quick question.

I just rebuilt the car and now it pulls to the right under throttle, any suggestions? Im planning on rebuilding the steering system and re-alighning it but maybe there is something I should look for.

just a minor gripe... was running my kit last week's club race.... after one of the runs, i noticed my rear left wheel wobbling. not knowing what it was i pulled the rear axle apart to try to find out what was wrong. turned out to be a shattered bearing. and i mean shattered. the balls were all gone. the outer rin broken in like 3 or 4 segments... etc, etc. thinking nothing of it, i replaced it and ran the final heat.

when i got home, i decided to pull out all the bearings and replace them with some spare metal shielded bearings i still had (side note: tamiya m4wd 10mm bearings fit perfectly). when i pulled apart the rear right axle, it too had a shattered bearing. not as bad as the left one, but still shattered.

fixing it is realy easy for as long as you have access to the parts needed. i guess i'm just posting this for the xray guys as a heads-up. might want to check and re-check the quality of the other components that go with the kit. i know xray is known for high quality and craftsmanship and i wouldn't want someone to ditch their xray kit just because they got fustrated with some shattered bearings.

You can use the steering rods. Checkout page 19 of the setup book.

Well pretty sure I bent the rear bulkhead in one of my recent wrecks! That's why the car is not tracking straight. The back end sways around like its doing the lambada!

There is both a .pdf and a post at this link that can help you out:

Instead of placing the car on droop blocks, I usually just place my car (w/o tires) directly on a flat surface to square it up.

I'm looking for a setup sheet for a Med-large Asphalt track. Med traction and running with foams. I will be running 38's or 40's all the way around.

Tracks range in different designs but generally in this perimeter: http://rctech.net/forum/attachment.p...7&d=1187197705 and

Only brushless 13.5 was not won by an Xray; Ritchie Reynolds, with some "other" car. LOL
and unlike the "other" mains, i won mine running away, even with a older version none sintered novak motor. in a Mi3

(ritchie, under mikes screen name for some unknown reason.)

Does anyone reccomend running AE springs on the car? Are they longer or shorter or what? I've seen quite a few setup sheets that run AE springs...

I know that AE springs will fit but i dont see any advantage in using them over the x-ray springs. but everyones springs will be a different on the track just by the endless different ways to come to a 14,15,16ect ect lb spring.
