I have the Xray delrin spool kit. It came with two pulleys a 34 tooth (std) and a smaller pulley I think it's a 32 tooth pulley. In what conditions would the smaller pulley be used when using rubber tires?

I'm thinking it would be used to gain more steering both on and off throttle?? Anyone try it yet?

I would go to the track and find out what gear ratio people are running for the CO27, and also what body (most likley a Parma Alfa, Parma Mohawk, or Protoform DNA1)

Apex: As far as i know the small pully is not to be used with the fko5, t2, or oo7. i think that the small pullys are for if you wanted to put it in a t1 or maybe fko4. I have never tried the small pully in our current cars and im not sure if you could get the belt tension back with out an added belt tensioner.
But it would sure do something good or bad if you wanted to try it.

Carpetracer92: for all foam tire carpet I prefer the DNA 1 by protoform.

Any news on the new Xray- T3? Its being tested as we speak, and its basically the Mi3's competition...it'll have same drive train of the famed T2, but new bulkheads, updated 2 screws diff mount to take off diffs with just 2 screws, and 2 screws to change spur gear, as well. New revised, thinner top deck, and it will come with 2 versions(asphalt, carpet)...any details?

Rumors are just that....
They always start when new cars hit the market...
AE, Losi and Schumacher released great looking cars and people assume that everyone else is coming out with a new car......
www.teamxray.com is the first place to get truth about anything Xray.

Yep, they even had to stop production of the T2R to keep up with the demand for the 007. I do agree that the time between the T2 and T2 007 was way to short, but the 007 is an awsome car, when I can keep mine out of the wall it is glued to the track.

Who is making the trip up here for the ROAR Nats next month at SIR? Doug is working is arse off getting ready.

Same here. It seems to give me more feel for the front end with more than enough steering.

This is very generic question. As rule of thumb on high speed tracks Stratus 3 AP and on small more technical Mazda 6 or now Mazdaspeed

asphalt tracks
