Has anybody had any luck fitting the Carbon or Platinum LiPo from Orion in this car? If so, do you use the strap or tape to hold it in?

I humbly take back all the mean things I said about XRay and apologize to you all for being an ass. There's no denying quality, and more importantly, durability.

I deserve that.

It was never as mean-spirited as some people think. But playing devil's advocate definitely doesn't make you any friends.

I've been in the market for a new car for a while now. Every week I watch guys in XRays bounce off every single board on the track, and still finish races without breaking a single thing. Then I'll have a perfect run going, not touch a single board, and then sheer off the entire side of my car rubbing a flapper when I hug a turn too tight. It's happened too many times to be a coincidence. It gets really old and really frustrating, and at some point you have to throw in the towel and buy something better.

So, take your shots, I've earned it. I'm done trolling, I finished weeks ago. I'm just going to fade away happily into the crowd. :-)

Default chassis

HELP! Does anyone have a 2.5mm chassis for the Xray 007 they want to sell? RC America is out of them and BMI may not have time to make one before a Florida state series race March 17-18. Do you know where I can get one?
Thanks

There isn't much room for the battery strap if you put this much weight in ! (from teamxray.com world cup article):

What's the best fan system to use these days? Are fan necessary? I've noticed some criticism on the MuchMore fans.

Also, which size spur will give the best range of gearing? Can the car resist small debris well enough to use 64 pitch on asphalt?

Thanks

If you end up getting everything shoehorned in, post a pic. If it's going in a US spec model you will likely have to notch the battery case. I couldn't get mine to fit.

@Nexus Racing - Do you have a link for the article that picture is from?
