Default I don't mind updates...

if that means they make it easier to wrench on the car. Way back....back in the day when HPI had an open forum, when they just released the Pro 2, I suggested to HPI all the design details that Xray put into the T2. I even suggeted it to AE before Xray released the T2. They didn't listen, they never do, and look at all the Xray sales. You got to wonder who is in charge? I'm a dumb club racer, who am I? HPI came back with the Pro4 and it was the best designed shaft car out there in my opinion. Make as many updates as you need, but improve it over the last design. Make it strong, easy to work on and make it handle well for the club level guy. Xray listened and are reaping the rewards. It makes me laugh now when I told HPI to make what is the current crop of TCs today. I liked HPI and AE products, but they don't listen to what the club level guy wanted in a product. HPI go back and check it out. My name on the forum was nightbreed. I'll get off my soap box,. It is frustrating when I knew my design suggestions would be easier and I had to wait so long. lol I can't wait for Wed.

Almost like real car companies...at the end of your lease, just when you get used to your car, then come out with something new. XRay keeps it so fresh and so clean clean, that it's dizzying. Mr. Hudy must be related to that guy from Apple with his new Ipod every other month. All that said, don't quit because of "new" technology, run what you have and ride until the wheels fall off. We HPI guys know that we have to maintain until another car comes out, maybe you XRay cats should assist Mr. Hudy with a dose of our medicine. Don't buy every single version that comes out, allow stuff to fester. Eventually (hopefully), they'll get the message and won't release a car EVERY year. Damn, I am hate-er-ating right now!...A new model every year for seven years, damn.
I give you guys props for selectinig a winner and a company that seeks to perfect a nearly flawless design. If you read this and the fact the somebodey is talking of quitting, that's why I mentioned how HPI does things. If developmont deters them, try not having anything. THAT will make one want to go to another brand. That'll be when HPI will drop something with my luck.

I totally think that the new t2 007 will be a great car, it doesn't matter if they bring a new car out every 10-12 months in my opinion its just a hobby build a bridge and get over it mate!
I would rather have a new car that has kept its designs up to scratch and has the leading edge in technology.

All the others that think its stupid to have companys release a new car each month. The so called "old" T2 was really good at the Worlds and it wasnt the new t2 007.

You guys can whine all you like but in the end i would rather have a good car that is updated rather than a bucket of crap thats 3 years old and the other companys are makign faster new cars aswell..... so your really goign to get left behind.

I say good on you xray, keep up the good work and i hope to see the car and good luck in the future

Jamie

I like seeing US and European versions of cars. Looks like the US version is a foam car.
