If you're careful you can lie to your ICE to let it charge/discharge at higher rates. Tell it the right 7.4/11.1 V but a higher mah.

Elelctrifly just released a balancer that will work with the ICE, it will charge balance when used with the ICE and it will discharge balance when used by itself. I played with one and plan on getting it.

Yes it would charge fine but at a 1A rate it will take forever.

You can use it to balance the 4800 not porblem you just have to modify the balancing harness like so...

Some high capability lipo chargers are those used in the airplanes and helis section.

Some of the examples are the following brands:

1) Schulze 330D onwards, chameleon series of chargers.
2) Orbit Electronics, they have the MicroLader Pro and the very portable PocketLader
3) Thunder Power TP1010c
4) Astroflight 109 (this uses pulse charge, which can be a little harsh on the the battery)

There are some more which i can't recall offhand.
