Default 2008 IFMAR On Road Worlds

Hear a rumour its FEMCA's turn for the on-road worlds in '08. Any clues as to where it will be held?

My vote is Brendale in Qld Australia or Yatabe Arena, Japan.

Yeah, bring it to Australia or even better New Zealand and then I won't have to travel so far.

New Zealand is a little too far for most people from the other parts of the world...I say Japan would be a nice place....

Yatabe had the first one, so i dont really think they'll get it again. As much as I would personally like that to happen

Has there been any tracks that have had a Nitro worlds AND an Electric worlds? Perhaps Brendale could be the first? They're holding the Australian EP onroad nationals in November.

I think its actually more likely to be in a developing nation in Asia.

same thing people said about travelling to Jakarta for the recent 1/8 Offroad worlds. I read from other forums that iFMAR stand was that this is a world event so there's no restriction on where it should be held. every part of the world will have a chance. but of course they must meet iFMAR standard and regulation of proper track for world championship.

I'd say it will be somewhere with a large population base, so that scraps Australia or New Zealand. I say Japan or Thailand, or maybe China to cash in with the Olympics.

Where ever it is I'm going! If I don't qualify to race I will simply go to watch.

I prefer the North pole.....getting coffee with Santa. sledraces, iceracing for 1/10th, snowballfight
I should say Far East: Phillipines, Indonesia, Singapore or Hongkong (with a discount for racers at the shops in Kowloon )

Its an event which I am hoping to go to for the first time, so somewhere in the Asian block is great, but of course somewhere in Australia would be even better (albeit highly unlikely).
