Default run time

what mah batteries would enable me to complete a 5min and 8min 1/12th pan car race. does 4cell or 6cell matter? is it better to use 4 cell because its lighter and has less wear on the comm? for bashing packs how much run time would i get from a 4cell 1500 pack?how fast would a 15t be on 4 cells? how many packs do u need for a race day running in one class? my charger(piraha digital) only lets me use 3amps on a standered wall plug in. would it take to long to charge a decent pack between runs?

what class do they run at your track?

Proper 12th races are 8 minutes.

4-cell can be awkward because you don't supply so much voltage to the servo's - but the fast people will be running 12 turns and below on 3000's.

6-cell doesn't give the servo voltage problems - depends on what motor rules they run though.

You'll struggle to run a competitive 8 minute race with 1500's.
