Default foam tire color code???

I hate this color code thing. I like numbers you can relate lower numbers to softer tire and higher numbers to harder towers. With color codes its like you need to know the color wheel or something. Wuts up with that. I know that some foam tire makers with color codes post what degree or softness and hardness on their websites. I guess the bad thing is that all foams aren't the same but at least if they say 37 shore or 40 shore its some kind of standard. Of course you never know unless you can afford a tire durometer. But i hate the color code.
