Matt Francis was just two seconds off of Baker's time.....not bad for now. Matt will make up that time by qualifying.

From looking at the club race sheet, it seems like a lot of people are breaking or having trouble of some kind. Is the layout that tight?

David.....I dont think its people that are breaking but most people dont take the club race seriously they use it to tune but as you can see not very many of the guys actually raced it. Plus they can basicaly practice around the clock and they need time to rest so some guys take the club race as time to sleep.....some will even sleep through the qualifiers as you can see by the results a lot DNS. This race will wear these guys out especially the ones racing both oval and road course.

Last year I ran oval and on road. If I get the chance to go again I will not do that. I was completely worn out.

It's only 75 degrees down there. It's a big whoping 23 here.
I wonder how Scotty and the rest of the Trackside crew are doing?

I was talking to Kenny at trackside and scotty called and said the air conditioner in the room went out and it was very hot. Other than that it sounded like they were having a good time.
