Ni-Cad is pretty much dead except for pre-built stick packs. NiMh outperforms Ni-Cad in almost every way now.

Just make sure your charger is NiMH compatible. They peak at a lower level than Ni-Cad so if your charger isnt setup for them it will overcharge it.

Shouldn't you be painting bodies?

Default just a note

rcnoob..I think you are in the US. For what it's worth, if you are watching how much you spend...Radioshack now sells GP3300 stick packs with a tamiya connector for 25 bucks each. The packs are a good bang for the buck.
