The Komodo Dragon is a higher RPM motor that should work well...

Your question could lead to misleading answers... "High speed" is a result of power and gearing.

The Element V2 is a strong motor, with good power, etc. but it makes it's power at a lower RPM. Thus to get "high speed" you have to go to a bigger pinion gear, etc. -- but it CAN be "high speed".

For my money, and based on racing a LOT of 19t motors, I'd say go with the CheckPoint "Money" 19t or one of the "tuner" versions of that motor. Locally, these things KILL the competition.

To be fair, I have yet to see anyone run a Komodo Dragon 19t, so I cannot say much about them. The Chameleon 2's were always strong motors, but high maintenenance (I've gone through a ton of brushes in these things)...

The Komodo is every bit as high maintenance as the Chameleon 2 was but it's freakin' fast! I have a two run setup on mine. My favorite 19t is the CP Money 19t. Don't have to align brush hoods....which is NICE!

Are you saying your motor selection can have adjustable timing? If so, you can cut the tab off any round motor and get adjutable timing from it.

Where can you get a DC lightweight arm? Are there any fast motors out there which does'nt require building a hybrid?
