Cool Know what this is?

A guy brought this into the shop. Been on the shelf for decades. It has 4 servos on each arm. It doesn't turn, just straight. An ole Futaba am radio that apparently was for aircraft... and has the plugs into 4 channels.

I guess it's a "hopper" kind of car. Has an impala body.

Wow It's been a while since I've seen one of those, It's a pegasus hopper, It was just made to hop. Hope that helps out

Can't believe you need 4 servo's to run it though. Wouldn't it be kinda slow?

Kropy - nice catch on that one. I've never seen anything like it.!

Yeah that's a Pegasus hopper alright. they didn't work well though as the bellcranks would slip or strip. They were only for hopping and didn't have any steering or drive mechanism.

They don't drive or hop, just dance! too slow to hop. Motions are front, back, side to side, see-saw front to back, and side to side, also three stance (motion).
