when you first get them, build them like any other pack, after your finished tray them and bring each cell down to .9 volts each. next charge them at 5.5 amps. they like to peak a little hotter than 38's. set the peak sensistivity to around 3mv. per cell.

Has anyone tried step-charging these batteries.... especially the SHV cells?

Default chargers

I've got three chargers. A millienium pro, an integy, and a pitbull.

the integy allows me to set the mah's, but the othet two don't. The Millenium also has a "novak nimh2" setting.....

Does it matter if a few of my chargers won't allow me to set the mah?

These chargers were manufactured when 3300's were the top of the line batteries.

I'm assuming the Novak and the pitbull don't care what the total mah of a pack is but stop charging based on the peak voltage settings.

So far all three chargers are doing a great job on IB3800's.
