This looks set to be a great event and I hope there is some coverage somewhere!

For those of you who want to see results and pictures from last year, it can be found here

The exhibit hall has plenty of light but if you like your work area real bright then you will need to bring a pit light.

Boomer,
Are air compressors allowed or will we need to clean our cars of fibers by brush?
Thanks,
E

How are you guys (and gals) flying in with your 12th scales? Wrapped in your suitcase, as carry-on, taken apart?? For sure I will take off the antennae, but anything else?
Only race I flew to I carried my radio home and I got stopped and searched at every checkpoint.... A friend who drove brought the rest of my stuff.
also-any horror stories of crushed standard three carboard box hauler bags (trinity bags, etc.)?
Thanks in advance,
Ray

I have had good luck with wraping the cars in a good plastic bag and putting them in the middle of some cloths.
I always carry on my radio. I just put the batteries in the checked bags.

So Boomer, I'm wondering what bodies are legal for vegas??
Can I still sign up??
Whats the room rate??
Will I need to use tire sauce???
Ray- Pack all your stuff in boxes, and put them inside "REGULAR" suitcases.
Makes life much easier. I've traveled to a couple of races, and since I've started using regular suitcases life has been much easier.
They won't question a 70lbs samsonite, but roll in 55 lbs tackle box and look out.
More then crushed boxes, they just go missing with that big R/C Company Logo on the side....
Casino Corner, here we come.
