I am now lounging in my suite at the South Coast Hotel and am looking forward to putting faces to some of these posts I have been reading the last 3 months. Does anyone know which room we will be racing in? I was just going to poke my head in and take a look at the "behind the scenes" stuff.

I am stoked just to be here!

I just want to check that there is a shuttle that goes to the hotel from the airport? Last year there was, I'm assuming all the hotels have shuttles... If not I'll have to hit up a taxi.

There is a shuttle. You call in advance for it to pick you up at the airport. Check the South coast webpage.

The Skuba and I roll out tomorrow at High Noon. Hopefully we avoid traffic and any unknown delays and can make it before 4 or 5.

275/ 75 mph = 3.666 hours. We can do that with no stops easy......

If anyone is looking for a Novak Rep when they get there, we should have a sign down by check in, or check for Suangka at the front desk.

ALL IN!

I am starting the drive at 3:30 AM tomorrow. Should be there about the time registration opens.

Then, I gotta find all the people that I chat with on these boards...

Not bringing my computer...Just face to face for the week...

I may go to Vegas this week, but not to hang out with any of you nerds!

Actually, I go once a year... I may need to go twice for IIC when I'm confident I could make at least the top 3 in the Z.

If you're looking for a diversion, I found a story about the Pinball Museum that's a couple of miles off the strip. I'm an old arcade junkie, so next time I'm there, it's the first thing I'll visit. Take a second and read about it if you ever liked pinball, it looks like an incredible place, and very true to the old arcade spirit.

I hear you syn; but, you don't have to race to have a good time AND BECOME A BETTER DRIVER/CAR PREPARER.

Last year, I gained so much insight from just hanging out with some really class drivers and their wrenches. Just like the Reedy.
