Hi guys,
In response to some of the questions I've received via email/PM about the hobby shop, here are some answers to help you better prepare for the race.
- We will have a limited number of Protoform DNA1 bodies in stock
- We will have the new Intellect Worlds cell available in 4- and 6-cell packs
- We will have full lines of product for Associated, Losi, Tamiya, Corally, Xray, Schumacher, HPI, Hot Bodies, Speedmerchant, CRC, and many, many other hop-ups and upgrades, just like last year. Unfortunately we will not be stocking parts for the Yokomo or new Kyosho cars, if you plan to run them I suggest bringing what you need.
- We will have plenty of Jaco foam tires on hand, and Parma as well
- Some people have asked if we will be carrying 110V power supplies and soldering stations. The answer is yes to both.
- If you decide to switch to brushless mid-race, you're in luck; we'll have a full line of Novak brushless products on hand.
One other note. Last year we encountered a few people from outside the US who had "smart" credit cards with microchips in them. At this time, we are unable to process those cards (and many other places in Vegas are unable to as well, from what we heard last year). If you are coming from overseas, I strongly recommend either bringing travelers checks or some other purchasing option.
