Section of the email:

Wednesday is practice day number 1. Doors open at 6am practice begins at 7am. We will be running 1 hour of open practice to allow a groove to be put in the carpet. There is no guarantee that we will be able to get all racers on the track during this 1 hour session, but it will help everyone have a better 1st round of practice. At 8am we will begin running 2 rounds of practice via heats.

Thursday practice day number 2. We will have the mandatory drivers meeting between practice rounds
Friday, 1st day of qualifying. 2 rounds then resort.
Saturday 2nd day of qualifying 2 rounds with a resort between rounds.
Sunday, Main day. Single main format.

Hi Boomer & Scotty -

I'm just curious if there will be a dedicated Hotel TV Channel which will show a "Live" racing status so we can see what class/heat/round is currently running from our rooms... .

IE: Race#12 / Stock Foam Heat 3 / Round 2.

That way if I'm in: Race#16 / Stock Rubber Heat 1 / Round 2.

I'll know I better get my a$$ back down to the track....

PS: ..... Sorry if someone else has asked this already

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a 110v soldering iron that I can mail order to the hotel or get the trackside hobby shop to bring on site? I just found out that my Weller station does not do auto switch between 220v and 110v like I had hoped

Regards,
Emil

i didnt see one last year...

not really needed tho. the way its done is a schedule is posted at the beginning of the day, has times on it... and after an entire day, 46 heats x2 quals, we were off by about 2 minutes, i think... scotty and crew run a tight ship!

plus, you pit in the race area, not your room... avoids all sorts of problems that way...

Wes is correct.

There is no need for a dedicated TV Channel in the room. All racers will pit in the track area and we have a time table set on each pit daily.
There was 1 or 2 small issues last year but they were corrected. All in all, we ran right on schedule all week.

Time sure is flying! 9 days to go!
