First off, I wanna thank everyone for the kind words. I love announcing and I'm glad most think I do a good job.
Next, I wanna thank the Gate crew for taking such good care of me this weekend, and giving me the opportunity to voice for such a great event.
Third, RC Scoring Pro is AWESOME!!! This was my first real exposure with the program, and for big races it has to be the absolute best software out there. Doug Hay, I look forward to shaking your hand at the Champs.
Finally, What made this race so great was the racers themselves. A race director can only run a race quickly with the help of the participants. The group that attended this year's Classic was one of the most polite and timely groups I've ever directed. If there were frequency conflicts, the racers resolved them, If they had a scoring issue, it was discreetly brought to the race mgt. to handle. Everybody was in tech on time and staged quickly. Hell, I can only remember granting 4 graces the entire weekend. We ran the last round in 4 hours and 15 mins. because the racers were always ready, we hit on the routine, and we'd already sorted out all the unknown transponder issues. The only snag I saw all weekend long was the aformentioned marshalling issues, and that's no different than any other event of this magnitude.
All in all, an absolutely awsome event, and "That's GOOD STUFF"!!!
Props out to Dave Johnson, for damn near killing the race staff with his ridiculous antics Friday night.

heres some cool stats to show how competitive the race is and has been.
12th stock 64 entries
A-main within 5 secs
24 cars within 1-lap of TQ
19t Sedan 55 entries
A-Main within 11 seconds
14 cars within 1-lap of TQ
TC Stock 86 entries
A-Main within 8 seconds
22 cars within 1-lap of TQ
and think of all the guys on the same second in many classes in the A,B and C-Mains!! So in 12th stock, 37% of the field was within 1lap of TQ and in 19t and stock sedan classes, 25% of the entire field was on the lead lap!!
