You're not kidding! I'm not consistent enough to win each week, but my car is good enough to rip off fast lap most every week against some of the fastest 17.5 racers in the country. The car's damn good even though mine is old as dirt.

Anyone have a flying fox spool they want to sell?

I'm not sure if I want to order direct because I placed an order about a month ago and I still haven't received it.

Nah there is enough room to play with if the alloy mount is bolted onto the shock tower. It would simply be an adaptation of the system almost every other TC uses at the moment, although it would most likely be upside down.

Just be aware that Tamiya's waer out very quickly. I have owned and run many of them up to the 415 series and they all had the same problems. They are however cheap for spares if you know where to go. I would personally pick the Cyclone TC over the 416 as it basically is the same performance but with quality. The New T3 also looks like a change in the right direction and may be the 1st truly fast TC from xray since the started the T2 series.

I will stay with the Losi though... It is just so damn fast!

Dragonfire, That is good to know about the wear of the car. I am very happy with the Jrxs R. I like to try different cars every year so as spring come near I will weigh all the brands out. The 416X looks good and is fast on asphalt but not sure if it is the car to go for carpet. I know you can buy the battery tray that makes it stiffer and maybe a chassis. That is alot to spend to make it carpet ready.

Flying Fox is doing the engineering . I'm just the distributor in the states. He's got some hot stuff on his drawing board for the Type-R though!!
