an I dea I had was milled out a pocket on the chassis where trasponder seats under a front diff so we can monunt a TP like the 1/12th scale, but still protected by thin layer of carbon layer.

Is there a layshaft that provides more clearance for the lipos? I am using Orion's 3800. I narrowed my pulleys and added a washer on each side to give me about 2mm more clearance but its still cutting grooves in my case from the pulleys. Does the Jrxs shaft give more clearance? Also what fans are being used to mount around the motor? Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Main chassis is different in the front/rear area, where the section is wider, this is the major one.
A nice difference is the battery area, even if look the same. It has been stretched out a bit, so the battery holder will not interfere (or at least...less) wth the chassis torsion.
For the flexi people, I can have it made in 2 versions, full carbon and carbon/glass/carbon. It's a touch heavier, but is more flexi.

Has anyone tried putting the 41t pulley in the rear of the car and a 42t spool pulley up front?

It would handle like a nitro car with 60mm rears and 55mm fronts, except the nitro car would get better over the course of the race as the rear tires wore down, whereas your car wouldn't. Bascially, it would be terrible everywhere.

I found a foam car is always easier to drive (not always faster) with larger rears so going by that a 41t pulley on the rear will make you understeer.

wouldn't a 41t rear make the car want to snap spin off power? I'm thinking with the weight riding on the nose and the rear wheels trying to spin faster than the fronts.

I don't know for sure... Its not something I have played with. I hace always found that balance onlong with good setup gives performance. Having one end of the car constantly trying to overtake the other dosen't seemed balanced to me so I would tend to stay away from it anyway.

Trust me, running overdriven rear wheels is not something you'd want for an entire 6 minute race with rubber tires on asphalt. We "deal" with it running nitro on foam because we have to, but that's only because our rear tire wear is so manically wild.

Raise the top deck of 6 mm; turn upside-down the servo; install on the servo a servo saver like 1/12/ style; go on your local track and drive...
