Has anybody been working on a setup for rubber tires on carpet? I think I may take a break from foams this winter, and need somewhere to begin.

I used the weighted LiPo tray last night and it was great. The car weighs about 49.3oz with the Orion Platinum, which gives a little wiggle room to add some weight for ballast and reach the minimum required.

There's a giant gouge in the side of my LiPo case from where the GTB's PCB was shoved into it after a side impact. It looks like it nearly penetrated the hard case. If anybody is considering running a soft case on a LiPo in this car, and you've got the ESC mounted where it could be jammed into the battery, it will probably happen eventually.

20 or 21T pinion for 128 spur

is there a way to fit a 20 or 21T pinion on a 128 spur? when i do mine, the center pulley for the front belt rubs on the 3.5R's endbell the lowest i can get without rubbing is a 22T, but im afraid the 3.5 will thermal on me with a 10.65 ratio.

or do i have to get a 130 spur for my ratio to go into the 11's?

you can either grind down a little bit on the motor where the pulley touches it or just run a 130 or 132 PRS spur, i ginded a little bit of the motor on mine and i can get a 21t with no problems at all,ill get a picture in a minute
