I'm looking for a more durable car for my daughter. (yes, I have that many parts) . perhaps a few year old XRAY? a nice Mini Cooper? pm me if interested.

I have some stuff for the front motor car too.. someone mentioned a belt.. I have that..
Pm your way

Haha. I figured someone would be interested. The one I will let go of is the V1. It was modeled in solid works and cut a couple weeks ago. Ran one race day and it did run decent. The countersinks were cut too deep, so all things will need to be shimmed up by approximately 0.015"-0.020". The over all length was off by 0.005" so your top deck is a bit snug when bolting it down. You could open your holes up or just use it as is. Cost is what I paid for the material and mill time= $40. And youll have to pay shipping.

*** You will also need to shim up your top deck by approximately 2mm to fit a lipo like I have here.

*** if you want to run a lipo in standard configuration= you will need to modify your bulkheads or shim all chassis components up to accommodate the pack.

This is sold "as is" with the understanding that you will need to be a bit of a wrench to get it working as intended.

And then the version 2= which if there is interest= I would make a small run/group buy of. It would be a bit more expensive and I would need about 4 people interested.

This one was spot on with the holes= just cut it too thick. I will mention that I had a horrible race weekend with this.. lmao and it caused me to buy an xray. I think it was more about clapped out ball cups and worn out parts than it was chassis. THe car drove impeccably well on sorex. It did not like the handout tire that was run at the race.

Sign me up for one of the V-2's but I had hoped it would be somewhat more narrow, I already have chassis dragging problems on grip that I can only brute-force with heavy swaybars, that may have been what caused iffy performance with a change in rubber.

My setup looks like this:

Cool.

I originally designed this with some flexibility in mind. I had a bunch of other changes and there are a lot of option holes in the chassis for running.. ehhheehhmmm other configurations... if someone was a super good wrench.. lets just say XXXS arm mounting positions are present.. you'd have to get there on your own though... and it would be no small undertaking.

;-)

I could be persuaded to change the layout to your taste... (all of you)

In this configuration, I ran a shorty and had it offset sticking out the RHS. The chassis was perfectly balanced on pins. Needed work though. If someone wants to pick up where I left off- so be it.

I think I need a couple of the V-2. I'd like one or maybe both for VTA so the heavier the better.

Well, I think it's time to "retire" my Losi from rubber tire racing and see if I can apply what I have learned to newer hardware. It was a good run, lots of wins and quick laps, even on some bigger stages, but the car has its drawbacks and we have to remember that "conventional" becomes convention for good reason. I think I'm going to order my own Russian Rocket and learn the way of the Awesomatix Alphabet Soup thread.

That being said, I have a fresh set of foam tires and a 4.5-turn Mod sitting in my box... How many current racers have never seen a touring car as fast as a Mod 1/12 scale?

Default jrxs type r

May not be much interest because of tmaxxfreaks lack of response on his for sale....I too have a jrxs which I believe may have never been run there is a minor scuff on the bottom which looks like shelf wear rather than running scratches? Send me a pm and I can email or text pictures then you could make an offer on it. No electronics just the roller. Thanks
