I think what you are talking about is anti squat/dive. This setting does effect the on/off power grip at each end of the chassis but my exp with castor didn't reproduce this effect. I may be wrong though as I have never found improvement to lap times when moving away from 4 degrees total castor so I have always gone back to that.

yes, on the rear castor is adjusted by squat/dive. it does have a great effect how car handles, especially IF one side have more than the other, as I can imagine.

I 'm going to race a trpohy race this weekend! with my R!

Greg Sharpe, on your Jaco blues do you typically sand down the middle molding seem before you run them?

Jerry P. I'm still running the car I got from early in 2009. Been running it in a Trans-Am 21.5 class. Not a vintage class, it's more like the RCGT class but just with 21.5 motor. I had X-Pattern tires on a few weeks ago, well maybe 2 mo ago, and the car was on rails and not that far off my 17.5 Sorex 28 ran laptimes. Do you want the setup? I actually just picked up a second Type-R to do some foam racing again. Our track is very high grip. The groove is very black each week from Jack Gripper/Sticky Fingers (same stuff they say).

No, I found that my track (Horsham, PA) will take the seem off on the first pass anyway and FWIW my lap times weren't adversely affected by a fresh set of tires. It is a pain to get the JtG (jack the gripper) to soak in when the tires are new though, as it seems to just vanish when the tires are fresh out of the wrapper.

John, I'll see you up there. Running some F1!

Get this! I attempt to order a topdeck (losa4304) to cut down to try the car with more flex and couldn't find the part on horizons website. I called and the part is discontinued. WTF?
