What a pain... I wanted you guys to get another in so I would have a spare for everything along with some other spares. Instead I had to order the second kit from speedtechrc.

Just curious why I got this msg...

It's because regardless of MAP you can easily find the car for $330-$350.

What happens to the internal ratio of the car, which is 1.83, if you switch from the 42 tooth gear to the 41 tooth gear for your spool ?

You will further lower the internal ratio. But if I remember correctly the standard ratio is 1.86 so 1.83 must be the ratio with the 41t pulleys.

Standard ratio is 1.83. It is based on number of teeth in the pulleys. 42 on diff/ 23 on layshaft pulley. =1.826 or 1.83.

Not sure what the ratio can be considered when running a 41 tooth front pulley. If you read in the manual you will get overdrive which the front tires will spin faster than the rear. My guess is your rear will spin at a ratio of 1.83 and the front at 41/23 = 1.78.
