I will be running on a tight, med bite tarmac track so any advice would be appreciated.

I used to run a JRXS a few years back, loved that car once I got the setup nailed!

Cheers in advance.
Todd's Reedy setup is a very good base setup to start with , Ive been running that set up with minor changes and its great!

Looks a little soft, no rear bar? I would go 17.5 springs all around with 57 pistons up front and 5wt heavier oil.

It might work for the track your on, we dont know...Based on what i see i think your car is really lazy in the chicanes or any sudden change in direction.
Like MikeL said, try some harder springs.

It's dialed and is the fastest car in on the track, so for our track, it's great. Results from 12/10/08

Looks to me like it would push off the track. But if it works for you then keep using it.

Sorry to come across as boasting. My point it that it's fast, but I was looking for some feedback.

I've never sprung my car that soft, but if it works for you go right ahead. I'd definately try stiffening up the springs, you may be surprised at how high you are able to spring before the car gets too "floaty", as mikexray said, i'm running 17.5's, 40/45 r/f, 56 pistons, all four corners for 10.5 rubber and have never had traction issues.

If it works for you though, and your run seemed fairly consistant, then stick with it and practice!!

don't fix it if it ain't broke!!

I had an Identical set up spring wise when I first got my car. It handled decent. One week I added 17.5s and the car rotated so much better. Next week added sway bars. The car was uber dialed.
