Dont know if many people know this but about a year or so ago Team Hurricane won the compitition one of the leading rc magazines did on comm drops. They also have developed some pretty awesome lubricants, and motor break in drops. If i remember right a former AE driver used some of the team hurricane bushing and bearing lube at a pinch up at trackside and ended up letting brad johnson know that was the best lube he had ever used.

Maybe that former driver could clearify this for us.

E-mail me at [email protected] and I hook you up with my new line that I'm about to release. Custom blended oils and a awesome diff lube. These are proven race winning fluids. My stock motor/bushing oil is unlike and better than anything on the market!

Oil wars.....

Just get a quart of Mobil 1 synthetic for $6. The thinnest viscosity you can find. They make 0-20, but its hard to find. 5-30 is available nearly anywhere. It will last a lifetime of RC use.

What the hell would you use motor oil for? :weird:

Mobil is a synthetic oil and works well for bearings and bushings. We used to mix it with Marvel Mystery Oil to thin it down some, It did seem to work well.

MK_Arbiter 08-12-2006 06:46 PM

So I can use it to lubricate motor bushings? Does anyone use WD-40 to lube stuff?

MR JOLLY 08-13-2006 12:35 AM

WD-40 on tyre`s & on squeaky door hinge`s

Zubak`s stuff is good esp comm drops

there all good really but zubak`s is better  ;)

MK_Arbiter 08-13-2006 12:59 AM

Can motor oil only be used for bearings and bushings?
