The way things look right now I do not think I will ever get out of here!

But on a good note Sunday my son and I ran the F206F1 and the F201SCFPRO II 4wd car.

It started out in front of the house and moved its way to the local track LOL Sure a 4WD car is fast into the corner and out but I got this F206F1 hooked up out front of the house to where I could 4wheel drift it into the Apex of a corner and work the gas coming off it was fast!!! (years of 2WD 1/8th scale nitro racing) and the wife said it looked just like the last laps of the past F1 race.

No I didn't get past but it was a blast and the most fun I have had in a long time I do miss racing.

Plus it was the same Livery so I guess it would have.

It was a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it would be worth the time to try to setup an exhibition race like someone mentioned at a bigger event to get the car out to more people.

Well, a couple years ago at cleveland.. Trinity had their spec class cars on hand and gave 10 out to invitational drivers to see what could be done with them. Ralph Burch won... perhaps MLP sets up 10 cars with the same stuff, same pack, same motor.. same tires and picks 10 guys out for this years indoor champs.. or Halloween classic.. paints the cars all different like real F1 cars ect....

a thought. Id give it a go..

First let me say good job the DP cars are a personal favorite and I have been wanting sombody to develop a DP R/C car fo awhile as I personnally feel the TC car bodies are now just too ugly to race.

Have you thought or relaesing hop-up parts for the existing F103GT Tamiya car? Sometimes it easier and more profitable to provide support products to an existing large market then to try and compete directly with it.

I would also stick with 190mm as 200mm already exist in 1:10 scale pan cars and if you want the crossover market from touring cars it is a much easier match. May I also suggest building something that fits a NASCAR body? I agree that thr DP cars are a much better car to watch race and to look at but remember your customer base. I am not a NASCAR fan but they out number all of us fans of other racing put together.

Plus you could use the profits to later mass produce full kits with less risk.

Just my $.02

Sounds like it would be worth a look. I would love to run f1 cars or those others, but its hard enough in this area to keep mainstream classes going. Great looking cars though.

Well there is talk of a mini series to follow the Champ car to a few races and I think they will run our cars in it.

So yes a good Idea! for other series of racing.

Keith Thanks another great Idea.

Sounds good but right now the cost of this would be a little high.

maybe around the first of the year.

I will keep you in mind ok.

Yes on the F103 and F103GT go here! ok

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...54#post2573754

Next on the 200mm over the 190mm one the 200mm DP cars and bodies would also allow people to run other 200mm bodies on the cars.

Next we will come out with a 190mm for the other cars in the series that run with the DP cars Now this will also one to run any 190mm bodies. sedan sports cars or stock cars.

So a dp car is wider and a little longer the 200mm would work best it may have an adjustable wheel base.

Plus the wife wahts a stock car to race she is a nut and loves F1 and stock car.

Here I like all racing but I would like to turn left and right! in a F1 or DP/GTP/LMP car than a stock car. LOL

Not only am I looking to get classis going in these areas of racing but help make people aware that they are out there running!

Thanks Maybe down the road we can send you one to test I would love to see other companies make RWD cars (not a fan of Tplate stock car racing) Plus when you run the F206F1 it is like running a real car. It takes some skill

I think the best part of this type of cars is you can blast down the track and come into a corner and it looks and acts like a real Car it is cool to try to push the car to its end. But hey I am nuts.
