That's some serious budgeting.

Thatoneguy, I wasn't even talking to you. The comment came from the Maestro or whatever...

So unless yer posting under two accounts I don't see why you even responded to my comment.

i don't think the drake paid for that truck i think the guy that hooked it up did it has a favor since him and adam are friends.

did you learn anything from the lost epsiodes of dave chapelle, " i grind up diamonds and put them in my food, 1. because its the most baller thing you can do and 2. it makes my dookie twinkle."

generally people with a celebrity status generally don't pay a dime for anything.

But on topic...making any hobby your full time job does 2 things to be sure.

1. Sucks most if not all of the fun out of it.
2. Doesn't pay squat

These are from my personal experience in the biking industry. That's why I now own my own consulting company. Software pays the bills so I can do fun things. Now back to those midgets!

Its vertically challenged! Get it right next time

From my personal experience in the Golf Industry its the same way, so far I don't want to play much anymore and I make no money.
However the good parts are that as the other guy said I don't pay for squat I get all the free equipment I need, a car, and know enough people to get hooked up on just about anything. Its all about being creative with your finances. I make dirt and I mean dirt and still own my own home, two new cars and race RCs on occasion. I would bet most of the guys in the RC industry that arnt winning national and world championships and don't have an engineering degree are making close to the same thing I do and when you make that much you have to be "creative" with your finances and do some things on the side (nothing illegal of course, ebay is a wonderful thing) I know most people think I make 6 digits but only make a 1/4 of that and get creative with the rest. Its not about how much you make its about how much fun you have and how far you can stretch things. Just because a guy loves his job and has a 24/7 smile on his face doesn't mean he makes big bucks.

If we could all get sponsored by playboy, durex and fosters I think we could all very easily live on sponsorship deals for the rest of our lives

In the real world though,I think you'll find it very hard to find anyone who can say they live on the earnings they make through r/c racing.

As other people have said, its not for any sponsored driver to say how much they recieve in cash or other benefits ( services rendered? ) so others can have a discussion on it.

Neither is it a good idea for individuals to post on a public forum how much they think someone is getting for a sponsorship, because they are usually wrong... Unless they know the facts! (not from me,lolol my lips are firmly sealed!)

Oh ok,you've pushed me too far now,I earm more than Micheal Schumacher finishing last at any event PMPL

Hey guys,

Todd's multi millions come fromt the porn industry! You all havent' seen the Todd gone wild videos!

I personally think that you're setting yourselves up for failure. Most of these guys are "sponsored" and hold some job at that venue. I'm lucky to know Todd and some of his fellow team mates and trust me while it seems like it's all bout T times at the course, luxury sweets at the Motel 6, women and the BLING. It's not.

I know for fact that Todd busts his ass, works long hours and puts up with a lot of crap. We should all thank him for it as he runs a great race team as well as product development.

Mind your business. We should all be using this time to practice more.
