Go for it, its a great time. Racing RC cars is not all about winning. Sure we all want to win the a-main but Big races are the same as club races. 50 to 500 racers show up and 49-499 loosers go home. There is only 1 winner. So there is no reason a newbie should not enjoy the fun with the rest. There are many vetran racers that never win the big one...

Enjoy the vacation, enjoy watching the pros!

If u got the cash, race it.....the only thing to remember, is to let the faster cars go by during qualifying....you and whoever u let by will end up with a faster time because of it!

Snowbirds isn't just a race, its an experience.....one that cannot be replicated anywhere in the world....Mike Boylan puts on one hell of an event....

snowbirds was the first "big" race i ever went to, its one awesome week of racing. just practice staying awake and working on your car in your bedroom for a couple days before hand.

Default birds

I have been every year and it gets better every year. You have to pace yourself because there is a lot of practice. Just don't do an all-nighter before Qualifying and race day.
