Default KO Mars R Reciever

With a Mars R, can I use reciever's other than the KR-301F? I thought that I could, but that it would not have the "40% faster response".

I have the regular Mars and also a Mars R, and I tried using the Mars R with a Novak XXL and the steering servo glitches when it reaches the endpoints. But with the regular Mars it is fine.

Is this normal and do I HAVE to use the KR-301F with the Mars R?

Thanks.

Yes, you must use the KR-301F. I don't know any that will work with it (yet.)

You must use the 301 with the Mars R. The Mars R is also compatible with the old reciever, but the standard Mars is not compatible with the new reciever.

got it backwards.the new receiver(301) works with the old transmitter but the new transmitter(R) wont work with the old(297) receiver.the new transmitter is 40% faster so it would require a faster receiver to cope.of cos a faster receiver can interpret slower signals.
glitching at end points happen to me as well.i dont know the problem but it sure isnt this particular cause.
