Nice design! Have you considered making one that holds 30mm fans?

Making this mount to fit 30mm fans would not be a problem. They would take up more space on the car though.

teatamale: I like the 40mm fans, because they press more air in the endbell/can. Can you produce it for this fans?

Will you send some stuff to Germany? Do you know something about the shipping-costs? I think, we need this product here in Berlin, Germany

If you go to www.usps.com you can see the various shipping rates for things from the US. Make sure to check your zone. the UK is zone 3, I think mainland Europe is the same zone.

How do most people have multiple fans wired up? With a LiPo battery I imagine it'd be okay to have the extra weight of a dedicated small LiPo pack and a switch (I guess a voltage regulator would be needed too?), but how about with a 'traditional' NiMH pack and all?

The dual AE fans come pre-wired where the two fans are both wired togther to one plug. So you could splice wires and use one plug. Or you can buy one, like this: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LX0954&P=0

Raw material should be in today and I will begin production tonight. It might be a week or so before I have enough ready to fill the orders I have now. I am working a ton of overtime at my regular job, 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Then I go home and work in my small shop at home. I will get them out as quickly as possible. Thanks for everyones patience.

I saw something like that at are TRF MSX at the worlds. Nice stuff! A 270mAh Lipo with a small switch.
Do anyone know where to buy that or how to build it? The voltage regulator is the key...
Would be a good combination with the clamp from teamtamale

team muchmore has a 7.4v 200mah lipo battery, that is actually the one that marc reinhard was using in his trf. I also don't know which regulator he is using and if this battery also provides power to the receiver and servo. Anyone?

Cheers,
al

for those that haven't heard from Larry - I know he is working his tail off at his normal job and I think "big brother" keeps an eye on him - so please be patient - he is literally a one man show....

and I don't think he expected this big of a response from the fan mounts - so he his pretty much working a 80-100 work week between his two jobs....

i have seen this fan in person and it is about as slick as any piece of equipment I own - I have had Larry's stuff for my Xray and my now my RDX and all his stuff is top notch....
