Default PIT Towel

I had a Yokomo pit towel that I had spilled paragon tire adhesive all over and is now trash.

I will be using an old beach towel with rainbow imprinted shells for the next week or two and hope to stave off the limp wrist jokes until a find an adequate replacement.

What does everyone recommend for a replacement?

Well, you could use a towel from the store. They are about $7..

Or buy a towel imprinted with a logo that you like, Like the Xray towel or something, and spend over $20 like I did

Trinity also has a pit table cover thing, but its kinda big.

I have the pit mat; it works great, protects the table you are working on and it's easy to clean.

Default pit mat

If you have a Harbor Freight Tool store in your area, they carry what is essentially fender cover material. It is a rubber like mat similar to tool box drawer liner that works great. Red in color... They cost about 7 bucks if I remember correctly

The pit mat looks nice. I've ruined too many cheap $7 towels with spills to spend money on a fancy one with some manufacturer's name on it.

Does anybody use that pit mat? How nicely/easily can it be rolled up?

Yeah, I didn't think about it, but I have burned a few holes in my pit towels before. I'd hate to get one and melt a hole through it. Other than that though, it really should be good. It wouldn't get stained and stuff like the towels would.

Since I have the Upgrade pit mat...

Here is my assessment.
It rolls up nice and neat.
Nitro and shock oil and any other fluid won't hurt it.
Easy to clean...Just bust out the garden house.
Holds screws, tools, springs and other small items securely where you put them.

Me likes alot.

Plus with this code you save $5.00 for the purchase over $100.00 ( DPPAN5 )
If you spend over $150.00 you save $10.00 with this code ( DPPAN10 )

Hope that helps,
