Well, I would never buy an F brush off of ebay. There was a couple of bad batches of the brush out there and they of course slipped out to people, who sell them at really low prices, so people think they are getting a great deal on a popular brush.

At this point, there is two sources (besides finishline) to get fresh brushes, that would be Team br00d racing or EAmotorsports, anyone else.....you are gambling with what you may get.

Eddie,

There are hobby shops that sell EAM or Brood products. Are you saying that you sold hobby shops crap since we can only trust 2 places to have "good" brushes.

If a hobby shop has Team brood motors with F brushes in them, then they are good.

If a hobby shop has Team Brood labeled "F" brushes then they are good.

I think you read way too literally into the post.

Please don't twist what I am saying.....

Yes, even I and EA ended up with some of the bad batch brushes......both companies replaced them at no charge. We buy them from a source, we had no way to tell that there was a problem with the brushes.....and when the problem was found, we stepped up and corrected.

All I am is saying, is I would be wary of a unknown company selling the brushes at a dirt cheap price, especially on ebay.....buy them from a company that knows about motors and will stand behind the product if there is a problem.......Joe Blow ebay mailorder more than likely isn't going to replace them....

The brushes weren't unuseable, they just weren't a race brush anymore.....they certainly were not thrown away, just sold some where else.....this happens in the brush industry all the time. Bad batches of 767 brushes happen, same with others....

We never install F brushes on motors, unless the customer requests it.....

And the Hobby shops with my stuff have the good stuff......but I don't sale to Joe Blow ebay mailorder company that undercuts me.....neither does Eric.

Buy from whoever you want, but when they more than likely burn up.....don't be suprised when I say "I told you so"

To echo what Eddie said, We do get alot of our F Brushes from him. I personally love them in just about everything.

One thing I will say is that they seem to run better if you either break them in longer, OR on the second run. I can usually get about 4-6 good runs on a pair before they start to fall off.
